At Toku, we create bespoke cloud communications and customer engagement solutions to reimagine customer experiences for enterprises. We provide an end-to-end approach to help businesses overcome the complexity of digital transformation and deliver mission-critical CX through cloud communication solutions. Toku combines local strategic consulting expertise, bespoke technology, regional in-country infrastructure, connectivity, and global reach to serve the diverse needs of enterprises operating at scale. Headquartered in Singapore, Toku supports customers across APAC and beyond, with a growing footprint across global markets.
We are looking for an experienced enterprise sales professional to drive business growth in Malaysia for Activeo, our systems integration business. You will own new business development, strategic account expansion and complex enterprise sales across government, financial services and other target sectors. Working across multiple technology platforms and services, you will help customers develop commercially viable contact centre, CRM and customer experience solutions. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy opening new doors, building executive relationships and taking ownership of opportunities from initial engagement through to closure.
What you will be doing
Enterprise account development: Identify, map and prioritise strategic enterprise accounts across Malaysia, focusing on government, financial services and other target sectors based on commercial potential.
Pipeline generation: Build qualified pipeline through proactive outbound activity, networking, referrals, industry events and direct engagement with prospective customers.
Full sales cycle ownership: Lead opportunities end-to-end, from prospecting, qualification and account strategy through proposal development, commercial negotiation and contract closure.
Strategic account growth: Expand existing enterprise relationships by identifying new business opportunities, introducing additional solutions and services, and developing long-term account value.
Stakeholder engagement: Build relationships with CX and business leaders, C-suite executives, technology stakeholders and procurement teams, navigating complex buying environments through regular face-to-face customer engagement.
Consultative solution selling: Understand customer business challenges, operational requirements and strategic objectives, positioning solutions based on measurable business outcomes, efficiency improvements and return on investment.
Customer experience solutions: Develop opportunities across contact centre, CRM, omnichannel customer experience and AI-enabled customer engagement, including cloud communications and customer interaction platforms.
Multi-vendor solution development: Shape solutions that combine different technology platforms, integrations and professional services, selecting appropriate vendors and capabilities to meet customer requirements.
Solution discovery and demonstrations: Lead customer requirements discovery, solution discussions and presentations, coordinating product demonstrations and technical pre-sales support where needed.
Enterprise tenders and proposals: Lead RFP and tender opportunities, coordinating technical and commercial submissions, stakeholder alignment and negotiations through to contract award.
Competitive opportunity development: Identify opportunities to replace or enhance incumbent customer experience platforms, positioning alternative solutions based on business value and customer requirements.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with regional pre-sales teams, technical specialists, technology vendors and partners to develop customer solutions while retaining ownership of commercial outcomes.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
Enterprise sales experience: Preferably 5–10 years of relevant B2B enterprise technology or customer experience (CX) solutions sales experience, with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
Pipeline generation capability: Demonstrated success building enterprise pipeline through proactive prospecting, outbound engagement, networking and relationship development rather than relying primarily on inbound leads.
Full-cycle sales ownership: Proven experience independently managing complex enterprise opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation and signed contract, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Contact centre and CRM expertise: Strong practical knowledge of contact centre operations and/or CRM solutions, including customer engagement workflows, operational challenges, reporting, analytics and quality management.
Cloud communications and CX knowledge: Relevant experience with Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS), Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), omnichannel customer experience or similar enterprise communications technologies. Contact centre and CRM expertise remain the primary focus.
Systems integration and solution selling: Experience selling or shaping enterprise technology solutions involving multiple vendors, platforms, integrations and professional services, ideally within a systems integrator or enterprise solutions provider.
Public sector and financial services experience: Experience selling into Malaysian government, public sector or financial services organisations would be particularly valuable, including familiarity with complex procurement and stakeholder environments.
Enterprise tender experience: Practical experience managing RFPs, tenders, commercial proposals and structured enterprise procurement processes.
Consultative discovery and value selling: Ability to uncover customer requirements, guide business and technical discussions, and position solutions around operational improvements, business outcomes and return on investment.
