Responsibilities Berkley Entertainment is seeking an experienced Senior Entertainment Underwriter to join their team. This role is located in their Irving, TX office on a hybrid schedule. It can also be remote for a highly qualified candidate. The Senior Entertainment Underwriter manages a diverse book of business, driving profitable growth across multiple regions. The position will work closely with entertainment-focused brokers to deliver customized insurance solutions across a range of lines including property, inland marine, general liability, automobile, umbrella, and workers' compensation. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong underwriting acumen and a passion for the entertainment industry. Develop and negotiate pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for new and renewal business. Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, operations, claims, loss control, marketing, regulatory, and senior leadership teams. Implement and manage strategic pricing and rate plans to drive profitability, growth, and successful producer relations Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with producers, clients, and key stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience, in entertainment multi-line packages including Flim and Television. Strong sales and marketing capabilities with a track record of closing deals. Demonstrate success in marketing, producer management, new business development, and the ability to successfully negotiate on all levels with both internal and external partners. Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture. Solid background in risk analysis and experience with complex accounts. Possess a high degree of proficiency with the underwriting process and partner effectively with an Underwriting Assistant. Knowledge and proficiency with technical issues, compliance, coverage, products and pricing strategies. Adaptability and creativity in a dynamic business environment.
