Apply Job Type Full-time Description Position Summary The Senior EPC Cost Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Operations/Execution (project-based) cost team and the corporate cost and finance organization. The role ensures project cost data, forecasts, and reporting stay aligned with corporate financial systems, budgets, and controls — reconciling project-controls cost information (commitments, accruals, actuals, and estimate-at-completion forecasts) with the general ledger and corporate reporting, and maintaining consistent cost standards, governance, and communication across both organizations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary interface between project/execution cost teams and corporate cost and finance, translating project-controls data into corporate financial reporting and vice versa. Reconcile project cost data (commitments, accruals, actuals, ETC/EAC forecasts) with the corporate general ledger and financial statements; investigate and resolve variances. Align project cost forecasts and cash flow with corporate budgeting, FP&A, and capital-planning cycles. Establish and maintain consistent cost coding and WBS/CBS-to-chart-of-accounts mapping across execution and corporate systems (e.g., Oracle Unifier and Oracle Fusion). Consolidate multi-project cost data into portfolio-level reporting for executive and corporate finance stakeholders. Support month-end and period-end close through accurate project accruals, cost transfers, and capitalization. Drive governance, process, and controls improvements that increase the accuracy and timeliness of cost information across both teams. Partner with project controls managers, accounting, procurement, and treasury to maintain a single source of truth for cost. Provide analysis and recommendations to leadership on cost performance, risks, and trends at both the project and corporate levels. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). 7+ years of cost experience spanning both a corporate cost/finance role and a project-based execution (field) cost role. Strong command of project cost controls (commitments, accruals, actuals, ETC/EAC, cash flow) and corporate financial processes (general ledger, close, FP&A/budgeting). Experience reconciling project-controls data with corporate financial systems (e.g., Oracle Unifier and Oracle Fusion or equivalents). Advanced Excel and data analysis across large cost data sets. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge execution and corporate stakeholders. Experience on EPC or large capital projects in power, oil & gas, or data center sectors.
