Job Description Job Summary As a Senior Financial Consultant in the ERP domain, you will play a critical role in advising clients on financial best practices, implementing ERP systems, and optimizing financial processes. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our clients’ financial operations and overall business performance. This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to work from home some days and collaborate on-site as needed. Responsibilities Financial Process Analysis and Optimization: Collaborate with clients to understand their financial processes, identify pain points, and recommend improvements. Streamline financial workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. ERP Implementation: Lead ERP implementation projects related to financial modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets). Configure financial settings, define chart of accounts, and integrate financial data across modules. Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather business requirements. Create detailed functional specifications, process flows, and user documentation. Financial Reporting and Analytics: Design and develop financial reports using ERP reporting tools (e.g., SAP Crystal Reports, Oracle BI Publisher). Provide insights through data analysis and visualization. Change Management: Assist clients in managing organizational change during ERP implementations. Train end-users on financial processes and system usage. Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure financial controls are in place and compliant with regulations (e.g., SOX, IFRS). Mitigate financial risks through system configurations and process improvements. Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, troubleshoot issues, and address enhancement requests. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system-related challenges. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification. Minimum 6 years of experience in financial consulting, expertise in finance domain or ERP implementation. Proficiency in ERP systems (Preferably Epicor). Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into system configurations. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent English speaker.
