In this context, we are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Estimating Engineer to join our Estimating Section in the Proposal Department.
The role will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive project cost estimates, monitoring market and cost trends, maintaining cost estimation data, and supporting proposal development and client negotiations. Working cross-functionally with Proposal, Procurement, Sales, and Technical teams, the Senior Estimating Engineer will ensure that estimates are technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with project requirements and Casale’s estimating principles.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects and proposals.
Develop and maintain cost estimation tools and databases, leveraging historical and market data.
Monitor market trends and key cost parameters to ensure reliable and up-to-date estimates.
Collect and evaluate vendor quotations in collaboration with the Procurement Department.
Collaborate with Proposal, Procurement and Technical teams to validate costs and ensure the completeness of estimates.
Perform cost analysis and benchmarking, comparing estimates with historical and actual project data.
Support proposal development and client negotiations by providing cost breakdowns and pricing justifications.
Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, combined with experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
At least 5 years of experience in a Contracts Engineer or Estimator role.
Experience with onshore/offshore projects and EPC projects is considered an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in English.
Strong knowledge of estimating techniques and methodologies applicable to the Oil & Gas industry and onshore/offshore projects.
Strong teamwork skills, with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
