Senior Events Operations Manager
Our Purpose: A Better Life for Everyone
Nourish is not simply a technology company; we are a digital partner for the social and health care sector rooted in human connections, with the person being supported at its core. We offer a range of co-produced software solutions tailored to the unique challenges of care, while still being flexible enough to meet the specific needs of each individual service we work with.
We are at an exciting stage of growth. While we are the market leader, we remain ambitious and dedicated to our mission. We continue to revolutionise the sector by investing in our platform and our incredible employees who make this impact possible.
Our Ecosystem
At Nourish, you will contribute to a sophisticated ecosystem that includes:
· Technology that impacts a million people every day: Our core products are used by over 425,000 carers to support 417,000+ individuals
· The Nourish Partnership Programme (NPP): A sector-leading programme that manages strategic integrations with third-party systems to ensure seamless data syncing and interoperability across the care journey.
Our Culture & Values
We look for people who align with the way we work. If you join us, you are joining a culture defined by:
· Making a Difference: We remember who we serve. We are passionate about making a meaningful, positive impact on the lives of carers and those we support
· Agility: We continuously refine and adapt. There is no room for complacency here; we are driven to constantly review and improve our products and processes.
· Collective Effort: We help each other out because we know that when one person wins, we all win. It’s "all hands-on deck" - everyone is in it together.
· Every Person Counts: We treat everyone as a very significant part of our community. We welcome people being their true and authentic selves and value the diverse perspectives they bring.
· Openness to Learning: We believe no question is a silly question and all insights are valuable. Mistakes are part of the improvement process; we dust ourselves off and begin again.
The Team & Role
Nourish is looking for a Senior Events Operations Manager to own the planning, delivery and performance of our full events portfolio. This is a hands-on, senior operational role covering three distinct event types: large and small third-party events across the care sector (exhibitions, conferences and partner-hosted events), hospitality events for customers and prospects, and Nourish's own flagship events.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end logistics of every event we run or attend, for shaping the right strategy, format and style for each event type based on its objective and audience, and for reporting back on what each event actually delivered, including: lead generation, pipeline engagement, brand impact and return on investment. You will work closely with sales, marketing, product and customer success to make sure events are planned around what the business needs, and that every team involved is properly supported before, during and after each event.
Key Responsibilities
· Event delivery and logistics
o Own end-to-end logistics for all events; venue sourcing and contracting, budgeting, supplier and vendor management, stand/booth design and build, travel and accommodation, staffing rotas, collateral, AV and on-site management.
o Act as the senior on-site lead for major events, managing the team and troubleshooting issues in real time.
o Build and maintain a rolling events calendar across all three event types, balancing capacity, budget and business priorities.
o Negotiate contracts and rates with venues, agencies, contractors and freelance event staff to secure the best commercial terms.
· Event strategy and format
o Determine the right type, style and format for each event from large third-party sector exhibitions and conferences down to small regional or partner events, hospitality experiences, and Nourish-hosted flagship events.
o Develop a clear point of view on which third-party events across the sector are worth Nourish's presence, at what scale (exhibitor, sponsor, speaker, attendee) and why.
o Design and evolve the format for Nourish's flagship events (e.g. an annual customer or industry congress), including content structure, guest experience and brand presentation.
o Shape hospitality event strategy; audience selection, format and experience to strengthen relationships with key customers, prospects and partners.
· Cross-functional collaboration
o Work with sales, marketing, product and customer success ahead of every event to agree objectives, target audience, key messages and follow-up plan.
o Coordinate with the wider marketing team to align event activity with campaigns, content and PR moments.
o Manage relationships with external partners, sponsors and co-exhibitors where events are run jointly.
· Reporting and performance
o Define clear, consistent success metrics for each event type; leads and MQLs/SQLs generated, pipeline influenced, attendee engagement, brand reach and cost per outcome.
o Own post-event reporting, presenting results and lessons learned to marketing and sales leadership.
o Track events budget and spend against plan, and report on overall portfolio ROI.
o Use performance data to continuously refine which events Nourish invests in and how they are run.
· Budget and team management
o Manage the overall events budget, prioritising spend across third-party, hospitality and flagship events.
o Ensure health and safety, risk assessment and compliance requirements are met for every event.
· Ai native Marketing team
o Genuine curiosity and excitement about using AI in your day-to-day work, you'll be joining an AI-native marketing team where using AI tools to work smarter and faster is part of how we operate.
Requirements
· 5+ years' experience in event management or event operations, with demonstrable ownership of a full events portfolio rather than single one-off events.
· Proven experience running large third-party exhibitions/conferences and small regional or partner events, hospitality/client entertainment, and owned or flagship events.
· Strong logistics and project management skills; budget ownership, supplier negotiation, timeline management and on-site delivery under pressure.
· Track record of defining and reporting event success against commercial metrics such as lead generation, MQL/SQL contribution, pipeline influence and ROI.
· Confident stakeholder management, with experience working closely across sales, marketing and product to align events with business priorities.
· Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders concurrently.
· Comfortable with regular travel and occasional evening/weekend work for event delivery.
· Experience in B2B software, healthtech or the health and social care sector is a strong advantage but not essential.
· We're a remote-first team, with regular travel for monthly team meetings, in-office collaboration days, events and kick-offs.
Nourish Benefits
· Annual Leave: 25 days basic + Public Holidays + an extra day for your Birthday.
· Service-Related Leave: 1 extra day for each completed year of service (up to 5 additional days).
· Health & Wellbeing: Private Medical Insurance (including a personal health fund), Health & Wellbeing platform with 24/7 GP access, and an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
· Family & Security: Enhanced Maternity Leave, Group Life Assurance, and Pension Contribution.
· Growth & Connection: Regular career reviews, Referral Bonus schemes, and social events throughout the year.
All positions at Nourish are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, references, and receipt of appropriate Right to Work documents.
Nourish is proud to be an equal opportunities employer and we actively seek and embrace differences in thinking, experience, ethnicity, age, gender, faith, personalities, and styles.
