Bugatti Rimac, part of the Rimac Group, brings together two forces that have redefined the automotive world. By combining Rimac’s cutting-edge electric performance and innovation with Bugatti’s 110+ year legacy of crafting iconic hypercars, we are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in automotive engineering.
Our team is at the core of this, we work with passion, aim for excellence, and take ownership of what we do. We grow together, pioneer solutions, and deliver vehicles that set new standards.
Get in the driver's seat
As a Senior Designer, you will lead the visual and functional creation of advanced concept and production vehicle programs. Working across design, studio engineering, packaging, and aerodynamics teams, you will drive vehicle programs from initial 2D sketching and 3D CAS modeling to scale/full-size clay model direction, ensuring design vision is bridged with technical feasibility and delivered to Class-A surface handover.
You will love this role if you are passionate about pushing creative boundaries, solving complex engineering constraints without sacrificing aesthetic proportions, and seeing high-performance vehicle concepts transition from early ideation all the way into production.
Where you’ll make an impact
- Lead 2D/3D concept generation, digital rendering, and storyline development for current and advanced vehicle projects.
- Refine shortlisted design concepts while adhering to packaging, aerodynamic, and thermal management constraints.
- Execute detailed component designs including advanced lighting systems, wheels, grille meshes, and interior trim features.
- Direct and supervise digital sculptors (Alias/ICEM) and physical clay modelers to convert 2D sketches into high-fidelity 3D surfaces.
- Collaborate with studio engineers, packaging specialists, and aerodynamics teams to resolve technical conflicts.
- Implement global safety regulations, homologation requirements, and manufacturing cost targets into active design proposals.
- Prepare and deliver strategic design presentations to project leaders, cross-functional departments, and executive leadership.
- Mentor and advise junior designers, digital sculptors, and modelers in solving complex design issues.
What are your core components
- 5–7+ years of professional automotive exterior or interior design experience in an OEM or leading automotive design studio.
- Mastery in high-speed 2D digital sketching and rendering (Hand/Photoshop).
- Working knowledge of 3D surface tools (Alias, SubD, Blender) for proportion checks and sculptor direction.
- Familiarity with high-end visualization tools (KeyShot, VRED, Unreal Engine).
- Solid understanding of vehicle architecture, hard points, ergonomics, BIW, materials, and global safety/homologation standards.
- Proven portfolio showing full concept-to-production lifecycle involvement.
- Exceptional visual and verbal presentation skills to communicate design rationale to executive boards.
Fuel Package
- Private healthcare and mental wellbeing support
- Flexible working hours and up to 12 days of remote work per month
- Transportation allowance and subsidized meals
- Company performance based bonus and holidays bonus
- Minimum 25 days of holidays from day one
- Internal education programs and opportunities to grow
- A supportive, collaborative, and high-performing environment where people succeed together
