Senior Family Law Litigation Attorney Full-Time | Hybrid (2 Remote / 3 On-Site) | Fort Lauderdale, FL $155,000–$185,000 + Benefits Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney with strong litigation and trial experience to handle complex, high-value family law cases. This role is ideal for an experienced family law attorney who can independently manage divorce, custody, and high-asset matters from intake through resolution. We are looking for a strategic, courtroom-ready attorney with experience in contested family law litigation, including hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings. Trial experience is strongly preferred. Why Join Mayersohn Law Group High-value family law cases (not volume-based) Competitive compensation with performance-based structure Hybrid schedule (2 remote days per week) Dedicated paralegal and administrative support Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) PTO and paid holidays Structured systems and operational support AV-rated, litigation-focused law firm Key Responsibilities Family Law Litigation Serve as lead family law attorney on divorce, custody, support, and post-judgment matters Handle contested family law cases, including high-asset divorce and complex custody disputes Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial Maintain strong courtroom presence and advocacy Case Strategy and Management Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex family law matters Identify risks, financial issues, and evidentiary challenges early Manage cases from intake through final resolution with full ownership Maintain organized, deadline-driven case management Legal Drafting and Analysis Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements Conduct legal research and apply strong analytical reasoning Prepare cases for hearings, mediation, and trial Client Communication Advise clients on legal strategy, risk, and case progression Communicate clearly and professionally in sensitive situations Manage expectations with a high level of discretion and empathy Qualifications Required Significant Florida family law experience Strong litigation background in family law cases Courtroom experience (hearings, evidentiary proceedings; trial preferred) Active Florida Bar license in good standing Ability to manage cases independently Ability to meet billable hour requirements Preferred Trial experience in family law matters Experience with high-asset divorce, business valuation, or complex financial issues Experience mentoring or leading support staff Core Skills Family law litigation and case strategy Courtroom advocacy and trial preparation Legal writing and drafting Case management and organization Client communication and relationship management Strategic thinking and decision-making About Mayersohn Law Group, P.A.
