Senior Financial Accountant

Lex Consultancy is currently recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant on behalf of a leading global real estate organisation with a significant international presence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with 2+ years’ post-qualified experience to join a high-performing and collaborative finance team within a sophisticated global organisation.

The role offers excellent exposure to financial reporting, technical accounting, financial controls and senior stakeholder management, together with the opportunity to develop your career within a highly respected international business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Take ownership of key areas of the financial close process, including journals, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements and management reporting.
• Provide technical accounting support across a range of complex transactions.
• Prepare financial analysis and reporting for senior management and key stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls and reporting processes.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting efficiencies.
• Work closely with wider Finance and business teams on projects and ad-hoc analysis.
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards and accounting policies.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualified experience.

You will ideally have:

• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience with statutory reporting, audit and financial controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Experience within real estate, financial services, investment management, insurance or another complex international environment would be advantageous.
• A proactive and commercially focused approach.
