Senior Financial Accountant (AU Construction, WFH)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (06:00 AM to 03:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

• Strong general accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and the "why" behind accounting treatments
• Extensive month-end close experience
• Strong reconciliation and reporting background
• Experience supporting an Australian business (preferred)
• Proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders informed
• Strong ownership and accountability
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Strong Excel skills
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Pivot Tables
• Data reconciliation
• ERP experience is beneficial, but no specific accounting system is required
  

What will you do?

This is a Senior Financial Accountant role supporting the Australian corporate finance team and requires someone who can work independently while taking ownership of month-end activities and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• 50% Month-End Close
• Journal entries
• Accruals
• Month-end reporting
• General Ledger activities
• 50% Reporting & Reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Financial reporting
• Purchase Orders
• Fixed Asset accounting and asset register requirements
• General accounting support
