Show job description

Vaulted is a waste management company that removes carbon. We take organic waste that can pollute our environment above ground and safely inject it ultra deep underground—permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere while protecting local land, air, and water. Vaulted is based in Houston, San Francisco, and Kansas.

With a growing team of 70+ people across the country, Vaulted signed the second largest carbon removal offtake ever with Microsoft in July 2025 and is rapidly expanding to new sites.

Vaulted's proprietary technology builds on decades of expertise to deliver safe, durable carbon and waste management solutions now, at scale.

  • Build analyses for board materials, investor updates, and fundraising diligence

  • Provide ad hoc analysis for leadership across commercial, operational, and strategic questions

Modeling & Lender Reporting Support

  • Support site-level financial models, scenarios, and sensitivities used for site development decisions and investment approvals

  • Support covenant calculations, compliance certificates, and lender reporting packages in coordination with accounting and legal

Qualifications

Preferred

  • 2-5 years of transferable experience in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in both finance and accounting. (include GPA in application)

  • Advanced Excel proficiency: comfortable building and auditing three-statement and project models from scratch

  • Working understanding of debt documentation concepts (covenants, waterfalls, reserve accounts) or demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines independently

  • Located in Houston, TX or willing to relocate

Nice to Have

  • Experience in infrastructure, project finance, energy, or a related asset-heavy sector (investment banking, project developer, infrastructure fund, lender, or similar) Exposure to infrastructure tax credit monetization

  • Experience with multi-entity structures and consolidation

  • Familiarity with carbon markets, waste industry economics, or environmental commodities

  • Experience supporting lender or investor diligence processes
