The impact you’ll make
You will help shape the financial foundation for a growing Services business that is central to Lam’s vision for the autonomous fab. Your analysis will give leaders a practical view of growth, investment needs, profitability, and execution risk while supporting scalable processes and reliable financial reporting as the business expands.

This experienced individual-contributor role combines hands-on FP&A, business-case analysis, and financial stewardship. You will connect Services strategy, customer support models, deployment plans, operating expense, capital, inventory, service cost, and revenue implications; and turn complex cross-functional inputs into clear recommendations for leadership.
Primary Activities
Services Business Partnership
- Partner with Services leaders on operational decisions and recurring monthly/quarterly reviews, providing timely analysis on spend, resources, roadmap execution, customer support models, and financial trade-offs.
- Build and maintain financial views for Services opportunities, including business cases, return analysis, contract economics, deployment models, and sensitivity comparisons.
- Track performance against plans and translate variances, risks, and opportunities into concise, decision-ready insights for business and finance leadership.
Financial Planning, Operations & Growth Analysis
- Lead defined financial planning and analysis workstreams for Services, in partnership with CSBG Finance leadership, including:
- Monthly close, forecasts, budgets, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Headcount, contractor, operating expense, capital, depreciation, and capacity modeling
- Services deployment models, capital requirements, inventory, asset utilization, and service-cost tracking
- Develop practical metrics, dashboards, and operating routines that provide a consistent view of Services opportunities, roadmap progress, investment levels, and business performance.
Financial Integrity
- Support accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies, applicable accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS as applicable), and internal controls (SOX).
- Partner with Corporate Finance, Accounting, Tax, Audit, and business teams to analyze emerging accounting and process questions as new Services models scale.
Leadership & Scalable Process Improvement
- Improve financial processes, data quality, planning tools, and analytical capabilities so reporting can scale with a growing Services business.
- Build trusted cross-functional relationships and promote clear ownership, transparency, accountability, and value-focused decision-making.
