Senior Financial Analyst Interim Manager

🚀 We are hiring: Senior Finance Analyst – Inventory & Costing (Interim period of 12 months)

For an international organisation operating in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industry, we are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst – Inventory & Costing to join a dynamic, cross-country finance team.

The Role

In this role, you will take ownership of the standard costing process for manufacturing and sourcing operations in Antwerp. You will play a key role in financial planning, cost analysis, intercompany pricing and month-end closing activities.

Working closely with colleagues across multiple European countries, you will also collaborate with stakeholders from Supply Chain, R&D, Planning, Tax and Trade Compliance to support new product flows and drive financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the standard costing process, including actuals and budget pricing.
• Manage and maintain standard costing master data and intercompany pricing.
• Perform month-end closing activities and analyse manufacturing variances.
• Act as a finance subject matter expert for financial approval and pricing tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish the financial set-up of new product flows.
• Provide financial expertise and support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to standardise, harmonise and improve financial processes.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and implement more efficient ways of working.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, standard costing and cost accounting.
• Experience with SAP and Supply Chain Finance is a strong advantage.
• Previous experience within a large, complex manufacturing or production environment.
• Excellent analytical, financial and digital skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with digital tools such as Copilot.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, flexible and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international, hybrid environment.
• Fluent in English.
