Senior Financial Controller

⚙What will you do?

• Coordinate Month End Closing process of the team in respect of Group finance guidelines and timeline.
• Coordinate budget /forecast/landing preparation
• Provide day-to-day support to some dimension’ heads to help them preparing (budget, forecast, …)
• Prepare semester and year-end closings for external audits
• Monitor some financial and non-financial flows on a quarterly basis in collaboration with legal department - support to region/countries; load and analyse off balance sheet commitments
• Monthly analysis of income tax and Capex at Hubs level
• Provide financial ad-hoc analysis when required
• Follow-up of costs of support functions for some dimensions - Perform analysis with monthly comments; manage gap analysis (actual vs. last year / forecast); Follow-up outstanding amounts (accruals, prepaid expenses)
• In your role, you will interact with the other teams Group finance (FP&A, consolidation, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and Group Financial Systems and Processes), with other functions and with Regions.

🤙 What you'll need to succeed?

• Strong command of verbal and written English
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Management
• 4-8 years’ experience in Controlling function
• Pro-active, responsive and action orientated
• Ability to work in a constantly changing process environment
• Strong people development & coaching skills
• Ability to work with & influence all stakeholders
• Deputise for the Controlling Manager where required
• Ability to understand business policies and procedures as they impact on the job role and business activity
• Ability to plan, manage & prioritise own and others workload.
• Ability to collate, interrogate and manage data and to create strategic direction based on data analysis
• Experience with business transformation and continuous improvement
• Desire to progress within the Sodexo organisation
• Strong interpersonal / people skills
• A focus on quality and alignment to Sodexo’s values
