Job Description

Fund Accounting sits at the heart of Danske Bank Asset Management, ensuring that approximately 170 Danske Invest Funds are controlled and reported with precision. In this role, you will get ownership of recurring financial controls and improvement of the tools and processes the team relies on every day. It is a chance to grow your expertise within one of the largest fund managers in the Nordic region.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be joining a close-knit team of five colleagues who share an engaged, open, and positive culture. The team is responsible for a broad range of reporting deliverables, including annual and semi-annual reports for Danske Invest Funds, ISAE 3402 reporting, monthly central bank reporting, PRIIPS KID calculations, and distribution calculations. Most of your team colleagues are based in Denmark, but you will also be part of a local Asset Management Operations community in Finland. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across the full fund administration value chain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and documenting financial controls, reconciliations, and data validations
  • Analysing discrepancies and following issues through to resolution
  • Contributing to annual, semi-annual, and other recurring regulatory reporting deliverables
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to controls, reporting processes, and data handling
  • Supporting the optimisation of SimCorp Dimension and targeted adoption of AI within Fund Accounting

About You

  • Relevant experience in financial controlling or a similar control function
  • Educational background in accounting, finance, or auditing, such as a master's degree
  • Advanced Excel skills and an interest in using AI to improve efficiency
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach to complex tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues

Experience with SimCorp Dimension is an advantage, though not a requirement. We welcome candidates who bring curiosity and a willingness to develop new skills alongside their existing expertise.

What We Offer You

You will be part of one of the largest fund managers in the Nordic region, working in a team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and shared ownership of complex challenges. We work in a hybrid setup, typically three to four days per week in the office, while providing you the flexibility to work in a way that fits your life. There are real opportunities to develop your skills in platform optimisation, process improvement, and emerging technologies such as AI.

Are you ready for the next step?
