📝Responsibilities:

- Lead the FP&A team and act as a strategic partner to Commercial, including market analysis and growth support.

- Oversee budgeting and forecasting for annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, headcount, and capital planning.

- Present financial updates and budget proposals to Leadership, Region, and Corporate with the Finance Director.

- Support long‑range planning to drive mid‑/long‑term business strategy.

- Provide financial reporting and analysis for monthly forecast, close, and management decisions.

- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital.

- Lead strategic financial projects such as ROI, portfolio analysis, and resource allocation.

- Improve planning processes and systems for efficiency.

- Run the FP&A Center of Excellence with Commercial.

- Develop FP&A talent through goal‑setting and individual development plans.

🎓Qualifications:

- Business partnering with Commercial/Operations to support strategic decisions.

- Budgeting & forecasting leadership across annual/quarterly/monthly cycles.

- Market knowledge of business structure and the local contact lens industry.

- Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.

- Variance analysis and strong analytical capability.

- Problem‑solving and project management strength.

- Accounting & controls knowledge (US GAAP, SOX).

- Bilingual Japanese/English proficiency.

- People management and talent development experience.

- Collaboration mindset with strong communication.

- Innovation & speak‑up mindset to drive change.

- Zero‑based thinking with prioritization and risk awareness.

- Ethical standards as a finance professional.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

- Certifications: USCPA or JICPA preferred.

💴Salary:

Company will consider candidates up to 17M JPY for annual salary (client may consider higher salary based on candidate skills and experience).
