We are looking for a Senior FP&A Manager – Workday Adaptive Planning & Business Review to join our Group FP&A team. You will be the business owner and project lead for Workday Adaptive Planning – accountable for its roadmap, delivery and adoption across Group Finance and the business – and you will lead the monthly/quarterly Business Review process end-to-end. We need someone who combines deep FP&A expertise with hands-on Adaptive administration and a proven track record in project and stakeholder management: you plan the work, deliver what you commit to, and keep everyone informed along the way. Once the planning platform and review cadence are stable, you will also take on broader FP&A responsibilities within the team.

Your focus:

  • Own the Workday Adaptive Planning roadmap as product owner: prioritise the backlog, plan releases, and run governance and day-to-day administration (model standards, access, documentation, change control).
  • Lead the Adaptive implementation and rollout as a project: define scope, milestones and dependencies across FP&A, Accounting, HR, Risk and BI/IT; maintain a transparent plan and status view; and flag risks and slippage early, well before deadlines are missed.
  • Turn business needs into robust solutions: run requirements gathering, assess complexity, feasibility and long-term maintainability before committing, and set realistic expectations on effort and timelines.
  • Design and build scalable planning models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, headcount/workforce, allocations, driver-based assumptions) with assumptions that are transparent, owned and challengeable.
  • Develop core planning processes in Adaptive: annual budget, rolling forecast, and scenario planning (versions, workflows, calendars, inputs).
  • Set up and maintain data integrations into Adaptive (master data/dimensions, mappings, validation checks, reconciliations to GL/actuals), working closely with Accounting, BI/Data and IT.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and KPI views for Finance and business stakeholders (self-service where possible).
  • Lead the end-to-end Business Review process: timelines, templates, performance packs, variance analysis, and forward-looking risks/opportunities.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure actuals alignment and a clear bridge from financial close to management reporting.
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels: be the clear point of contact for Adaptive, agree cadence and priorities, facilitate performance discussions with senior stakeholders, and ensure actions, owners, and follow-ups are tracked to completion.
  • Act as a finance “super-user” for Adaptive: training, user support, and adoption across Finance and the business.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve planning and reporting cycles, including the practical use of AI tools for documentation, training content and reporting.

Once stable, you will also:

  • Support the broader FP&A team with ad hoc analysis, business cases, scenario modelling, and performance insights.
  • Contribute to developing best-practice FP&A ways of working (drivers, forecasting accuracy, storytelling, decision support).

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience (typically 6+ years) in FP&A / performance management / finance business partnering, with a deep understanding of planning and forecasting methodologies (financial services/fintech experience is a plus).
  • Proven, hands-on experience administering and building in Workday Adaptive Planning (models, sheets, versions, workflows, integrations, security, OfficeConnect/reporting); experience leading at least one full implementation or major rollout is strongly preferred. Other EPM tools acceptable with clear, demonstrable transferable experience.
  • Solid project management track record: planning and prioritising multiple workstreams, managing dependencies, and consistently delivering to agreed deadlines (formal PM methodology or certification is a plus).
  • Strong stakeholder management: you manage expectations proactively, communicate risks and delays early, and keep senior and cross-functional stakeholders aligned with concise, regular updates.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, BS, CF) and how they connect to drivers, allocations and personnel cost planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in Excel; BI/reporting experience is a plus (e.g., Power BI/Tableau; SQL a plus).
  • Proven ability to translate requirements into solutions and drive change (structured, organised, delivery-oriented), with sound judgement on complexity and maintainability.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, BI/Data, and IT to deliver robust integrations and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); able to turn complexity into clear decision-ready insight and to train and coach users at different levels.

Join us and help shape a world-class FP&A function that drives strategic decisions across a growing global FinTech.

The salary range for this role is €75,000–€95,000 gross per year.

We offer:
