Senior Frontend Developer

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Work Model: Hybrid - Minimum 3 days a week work from the office

We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our development team in Limassol.

This is not a role where you’ll be handed small tasks and told exactly how to build them. We need someone who can take a complex feature, understand what needs to be done, work out the best technical approach, build it, test it and take it all the way to production.

You’ll work alongside our existing senior developers and Architect, giving the team more capacity to move faster while also helping us improve the codebase as we go. There is a mentor available when you need support, but after the initial onboarding period, we expect you to work independently.

What you’ll be doing

• Own complex features end-to-end. Take features from requirements and technical analysis through development, testing, code review and deployment, with minimal day-to-day supervision.

• Improve the codebase while we keep building. Identify technical debt, weak or unnecessarily complicated areas and gradually refactor them into simpler, cleaner and more maintainable code.

• Raise the quality of what we ship. Improve automated testing, CI/CD and release processes so we catch problems earlier and can release with more confidence.

• Keep the front end fast and reliable. Monitor performance, investigate issues, debug problems and make sure the applications remain stable and responsive.

• Have a voice in technical decisions. Work with the Architect and other senior developers on architecture and solution design, challenge existing approaches when appropriate, and suggest better ways of doing things.

You’ll also take part in code reviews and share your knowledge with the rest of the team. Over time, you’ll help raise the technical standards across the front end, rather than simply owning your own work.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.

• We are working with Vue.js, Nuxt and TypeScript, together with modern CSS. If you have experience with other modern FE frameworks and you are willing to work with our stack, we'd be delighted to speak to you.

• Good understanding of front-end architecture, testing, performance, debugging and maintainability.

• Experience taking ownership of complex features rather than working only on individual tasks.

• Someone comfortable working independently and making technical decisions, while knowing when to involve the Architect or the wider team.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• A team player who adapts quickly, learns fast and is comfortable working in a changing environment.

• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing is important.

• Experience with front-end performance monitoring and optimisation.

A few things worth knowing

We’re based in Limassol and operate on a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Being comfortable working closely with the team in person is important to us.

Vue/Nuxt experience is strongly preferred, but we also understand that the local market has far more developers working with technologies such as React. If you’re a genuinely strong senior developer with the right mindset and solid experience in another modern front-end stack, we’re open to someone who can make the move to Vue/Nuxt.

What matters most is that you can come in, understand a complex system, take ownership and make the team and the product better.
