Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js & TypeScript)

PayOn is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong professional experience in Next.js to join our growing team. If you have at least 5+ years of professional experience working with Next.js, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and are passionate about building high-quality web applications, we’d love to hear from you.

Our platform is a fast-growing SaaS solution serving restaurants, hotels, and cafés, with features spanning restaurant operations, POS systems, payment processing, and fintech-related workflows.

We’re looking for someone who can navigate existing codebases, contribute to a large-scale product, and write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Next.js experience
• Strong TypeScript, React.js, and REST API integration skills
• Experience with DigitalOcean cloud deployment and scaling
• Strong responsive UI development and debugging skills
• Ability to understand and improve existing codebases
• Proficiency in Git and team collaboration
• Good English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features using Next.js
• Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces
• Integrate APIs and collaborate closely with backend developers
• Improve existing frontend architecture and application performance
• Debug and resolve frontend issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA engineers
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product and its frontend architecture

Nice to Have

• Experience with WebSockets or real-time applications
• Experience with Redux, Zustand, or similar state management libraries
• Experience working on SaaS or fintech products
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques

PayOn operates in a virtual office environment that supports collaboration, accountability, and productivity.

During working hours, screen sharing is mandatory for collaboration, troubleshooting, and work-related discussions. Applicants should be comfortable working within this environment.
