Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering team and help us build and evolve the user experience behind our global online entertainment platform. We build our platform in-house, with React Native and TypeScript at the core of our frontend development across mobile and web. You’ll work on fast, responsive and highly interactive experiences where performance, scalability and thoughtful UX genuinely matter. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex frontend challenges, cares about building polished user experiences and wants real ownership over the architecture and technical decisions behind them.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain high-quality mobile and web applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable, scalable components and contribute to frontend architecture as the product grows.
• Build smooth, responsive and intuitive user experiences across different platforms and devices.
• Implement and maintain state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit or similar solutions.
• Integrate APIs and backend services into frontend applications.
• Optimise application performance, responsiveness and overall user experience.
• Write and maintain automated UI and application tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Work closely with Backend, Product and Design to turn requirements into polished product experiences.
• Apply security, DevOps and engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions, helping improve engineering standards and ways of working.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from technical implementation through delivery and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience building frontend applications across mobile and web.
• Strong professional experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit or similar.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with asynchronous data.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimisation and building fast, responsive experiences.
• Experience with automated UI/application testing and maintaining scalable, well-structured frontend code.
• Good understanding of security and DevOps principles as they apply to frontend development.
• Ability to make and take ownership of technical and architectural decisions and explain the reasoning behind them.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering (SSR) and progressive web applications (PWAs).
• Experience with real-time or frequently updating applications.
• Experience designing frontend architecture for products expected to scale significantly over time.
• Experience with CI/CD and application release processes.
