Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role The Senior Full Stack Developer plays a key role in designing, building, and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions for the GEMS platform. This role requires strong expertise in modern full stack development, microservices architecture, and CI/CD practices to ensure secure, resilient, and high-quality applications aligned with current cloud standards. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, and serverless patterns Build front-end and back-end components, APIs, and third-party integrations Configure and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment Implement security, performance optimization, and monitoring best practices Produce technical documentation (architecture, runbooks, deployment plans) Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and Level 2 production support Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement Requirements & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Minimum 7 years of full stack development experience Strong experience with Azure, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js) Experience with CI/CD, Git, YAML pipelines, Terraform, and DevOps practices Solid API design, security, and integration experience Proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions Experience working in Agile teams and leading technical discussions Nice to Have TDD and unit testing (Jest, Cucumber) Monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog) Event-driven architecture and Azure Event Grid Power BI, data modeling, or emerging AI technologies Soft Skills Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Problem-solving mindset with high ownership and accountability Adaptable, proactive, and results-driven Comfortable working in a diverse, distributed team environment Work Arrangement Fully remote 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Manila Time) Philippine holidays observed
