This is a 6-month contract opportunity with one of Arctiq's clients. It's a remote position working EST hours.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in .NET and Angular to serve as a key technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the .NET framework, Angular, and software development principles. The Senior Developer will lead and contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, providing technical expertise, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, unit test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software solutions using the .NET framework and Angular
• Contribute to both front-end (Angular) and back-end (.NET) development activities

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in .NET and Angular development
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment

• Work closely with the architectural team to implement designed software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and scalability
• Collaborate with architects to make informed technology and design decisions

• Enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure appropriate unit test coverage

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business/system analysts, database and application architects, front-end architects, and quality assurance, to deliver integrated and seamless software solutions

• Work with the Front-End Architect to develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular
• Ensure alignment of front-end development with design specifications and user experience principles

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in .NET and Angular development
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in application and/or system development
• Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of programming languages, development frameworks, and best practices
• Proficiency in: C#, .NET Core (8 or higher), Web API, Angular 17 or higher, MassTransit, Entity Framework Core, unit testing (xUnit, Jasmine, Karma), TypeScript, and RxJS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with Docker
