Senior Full Stack Developer

The company is a cybersecurity startup focused on solving challenging and evolving cloud security problems for customers using the Public Cloud. They building a cutting-edge solution that continuously monitors the cloud workload network communications and activities and builds behavior baselines to help cloud security teams quickly detect and respond to behavior deviations and suspicious activities. They're looking for a Founding Senior Full Stack Software Developer who will join our founding team and work closely with the founders and the founding lead engineer. Role Overview: As a Founding Full Stack Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing , building both frontend and backend components of our cloud based security solution and shipping high-quality code quickly in an iterative startup environment. This role requires a self-starter with a deep passion for cloud infrastructure, and full stack development. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development (Node.js & AWS): o Architect and implement backend services using Node.js and the NestJS framework. o Develop and maintain REST APIs for communication between services and frontend applications. o Work extensively with both SQL (RDS) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases for data management. o Integrate AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Redis, and Containers (ECS or Fargate), to build cloud-native applications. o Use Python where needed for automation and backend scripting. Frontend Development (React & Next.js): o Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and the Next.js framework. o Create clean, maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). o Integrate with backend services via REST APIs to ensure seamless user experiences. Qualifications: +8 years of experience in full stack development. Strong and proven experience in software architecture and designing scalable systems. Prior Experience working in a startup or having built products from the ground up is a BIG plus. Strong experience in backend development using Node.js and NestJS framework. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Redis, Containers). Azure experience is a big plus. Excellent communication skills and a self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership. Passionate about cybersecurity and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices. Preferred Skills: Experience in performance optimization, system monitoring, and troubleshooting in high-load environments.
