Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Remote (Latin America) Job Type: Full-time, Contract About Us: AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. We are a global team of over 400 developers, QA engineers, project managers, and UX/UI designers with offices in New York City and Vietnam. This is a full-time contractor role based in Latin America. We are seeking a versatile Senior Full Stack Developer to build intuitive front-end experiences and scalable serverless backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, with a strong focus on API integrations and modern web technologies. Job Responsibilities: Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks (e.g., TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python) Design and implement scalable backend services with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, etc.) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features Ensure applications meet high standards of performance, responsiveness, and security Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines; monitor systems for reliability and performance Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years of full-stack development experience Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, or C#) Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue a plus) Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices Skilled in Git, testing frameworks, and agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams in English Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer Associate) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation) Familiarity with DevOps practices and observability tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus) What We Offer: Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Flexible remote work environment Professional growth opportunities and mentorship Engaging and collaborative team culture with cutting-edge projects Ready to Make an Impact?
