About the Role

NOVAY AI is looking for a highly skilled, AI-driven Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Backend and DevOps expertise to build, integrate, deploy, and maintain end-to-end AI-powered applications and platforms.

We need a hands-on, solution-oriented developer who can independently take projects from concept to production, leveraging modern AI development tools to deliver faster without compromising code quality, security, or reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complete web applications, SaaS platforms, admin dashboards, and customer portals.
• Build scalable backend systems, databases, REST APIs, endpoints, and webhooks.
• Integrate third-party applications, CRMs, payment gateways, messaging platforms, and external APIs.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered applications, chatbots, voice agents, and automation workflows.
• Implement LLM integrations, function calling, agent tools, RAG, and conversational AI workflows.
• Build real-time dashboards, reporting systems, usage analytics, and management tools.
• Manage Linux servers, VPS/cloud environments, Docker, Nginx, CI/CD, and production deployments.
• Own production operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, backups, and system security.
• Leverage AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent tools to accelerate development.
• Independently deliver secure, reliable, production-ready solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with strong backend expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript or Python, including backend frameworks such as NestJS, Express, or FastAPI.
• Experience with React / Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, database design, and API architecture.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications on Linux VPS or cloud servers.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Nginx, Git, CI/CD, environment configuration, and production troubleshooting.
• Understanding of application security, JWT/OAuth, RBAC, secrets management, and secure API development.
• Experience integrating AI models, LLM APIs, or AI-powered features into applications.
• Proficiency with modern AI-assisted development tools and the ability to review, debug, and maintain AI-generated code.
• Ability to independently plan, build, deploy, and maintain complete software projects.

Preferred Experience

• ElevenLabs, OpenAI APIs, conversational AI, and voice/chat agents.
• RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI agent tool integrations.
• WhatsApp Business APIs, WebSockets, WebRTC, or SIP integrations.
• CRM and business integrations such as Zoho, Stripe, and other enterprise platforms.
• Redis, background jobs, message queues, multi-tenant SaaS, and scalable architectures.
• Monitoring, logging, automated testing, and production reliability.
