Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role We’re looking for a top‑tier Full Stack Engineer to join Linkup and work hand‑in‑hand with our CTO, Denis Charrier , and the rest of the tech team. Your core responsibilities will be to: Build and operate large-scale, distributed systems powering AI-ready web search Develop APIs, frontends, and data pipelines for indexing, retrieval, and monitoring Design and implement intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for developers and enterprise users Maintain our web app and other user-facing products Optimize performance, scalability, and resource usage across our stack Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design Collaborate with ML and product teams to deliver data-driven features Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews Requirements You’re a great match if you: Are excited to help build Google for AI agents- and believe in Linkup’s mission Have strong experience in both frontend and backend development (3y minimum) Understand distributed systems, APIs, and modern frontend frameworks (React or similar) Care about performance, reliability, and code quality — both server-side and client-side Enjoy debugging tough production issues and optimizing performance bottlenecks Are curious about AI infrastructure and retrieval systems Thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment Example Projects Build an interactive dashboard showing live metrics from billions of indexed web pages Design developer tools for querying Linkup’s search API and visualizing retrieved facts Add multimodal search (text + images + audio) under 150 ms Implement internal UIs for data validation, ranking evaluation, and retraining workflows Stream 1 B embeddings/day while minimizing compute costs Our Stack Node.js / NestJS React Python Java PostgreSQL OpenSearch Vespa Apache Storm Kubernetes GitHub Actions Terraform Details The ideal candidate will play a central role in our engineering team, partnering closely with the founders to spearhead groundbreaking products.
