Project

Join a team developing internal engineering tools supporting Future State Architecture (FSA) across CTO Platforms.

The project focuses on building production-grade applications and APIs, integrating enterprise data sources, and implementing AI-powered solutions using autonomous agents to improve workflows for architects and engineering teams.

You will

• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and applications supporting enterprise architecture.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Java
• Integrate applications with PostgreSQL, relational databases, and enterprise data sources
• Develop and enhance web UI components using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Implement and orchestrate autonomous AI agents to build, test, and deploy software
• Develop integration solutions using MCP, tool/function calling, and API-based communication
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into solutions
• Ensure production-grade standards covering security, performance, resilience, testing, and observability
• Participate in code reviews, automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of internal tools

Must have

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering using Node.js and/or Java
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including data modelling and query optimisation
• Experience with web UI development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Knowledge of agentic application engineering and autonomous AI agent orchestration
• Experience with integration patterns, including MCP, tool/function calling, and API design
• Understanding of production engineering principles, including security, resilience, performance, and observability
• Experience with automated testing and software quality practices
• Solution design and architecture skills, preferably for internal platforms and engineering tools
• Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with AI frameworks and orchestration tools
• Hands-on experience with LLM integrations and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle automation and AI-assisted coding tools
• Experience building internal developer platforms, engineering tools, or enterprise applications
• Knowledge of authentication, authorisation, and secure integration patterns
• Experience with monitoring, logging, tracing, and production support for AI-powered applications
