Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python / Vue / React)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to report directly to the Director of Technology and scale our core Partner Portal. In this role, you will refactor and re-engineer foundational web applications, implement high-impact features, and shape a secure, intuitive experience for decision-makers.

Work Set-up: 100% Work from home

Work Schedule: Night Shift - Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM PH Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Architect & Re-Engineer: Lead refactoring initiatives across the Partner Portal to support growth, optimize full-stack performance, and maintain clean architectural patterns.
• Build End-to-End Features: Partner closely with the product innovation team to translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible interfaces backed by robust APIs.
• Uphold Quality & Security: Write clean, modular, tested code with meticulous attention to detail, automated testing, documentation, and rigorous data confidentiality standards.
• Modernize Tech Stack: Work across a modern Python/JS ecosystem while expanding into containerized environments (Docker) and exploring backend microservices in Go.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Full-Stack Development building web applications backed by Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, Django, or FastAPI) and SQL (MS SQL Server).
• 4+ years of Frontend Engineering using modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, etc.), semantic HTML, and modern CSS.
• Design-to-Code Fluency: Proven ability to translate Figma mockups into pixel-clean, interactive user interfaces.
• Containerization & APIs: Hands-on experience integrating 3rd-party APIs (SSO, data feeds) and working with Docker / Docker Compose.
• Testing & Maintainability: A disciplined approach to unit/integration testing, clear code documentation, and version control.
• Remote Independence: Thrives in an autonomous, collaborative, remote-first setup with strong written communication skills (Slack, Zoom).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Not Required But Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience or interest in learning Go.
• Background in EdTech or handling sensitive student data.
• Experience with cloud/DevOps, remote debugging (Docker exec, Flask CLI, SSH), and Unix environments.
• A pragmatic approach to integrating AI tools into development workflows without sacrificing code quality or understanding.
