Huenx AS is an AI-first consultancy and product company based in Norway. We deliver software and AI consulting services to clients across Norway and Europe, and we build our own AI-driven products. Our model brings together Norwegian business insight and senior Vietnamese engineering talent — small, highly skilled teams that work effectively with AI to deliver faster than larger organizations.

As we expand in Vietnam, we are building a senior engineering team to work on both our internal products and international client projects. We are hiring several positions, on both full-time and hourly engagements.

The role

This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You own features from idea to production — frontend and backend — and you use AI coding tools as a core part of how you work, not an afterthought. You work directly with our team and, at times, with our international clients, so excellent English is essential. We move fast and adopt new tools constantly — we want people who are senior and still hungry to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship product features end-to-end across frontend (React or Angular) and backend (.NET / C#).
• Turn requirements into working, production-ready software with minimal hand-holding.
• Work AI-first: use AI coding tools and agents (Cursor, Claude Code) to write, test and refactor code, while you own the design, review and quality of everything that ships.
• Integrate APIs, design and work with databases, and handle deployment on Azure.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain a high bar for quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Communicate clearly and directly with the team and, where needed, with international clients.

Job requirements

1. Excellent English, written and spoken — our #1 requirement. You must communicate fluently and confidently with international clients: lead client calls on your own, discuss technical trade-offs, and write clear technical English. This is assessed in a live English interview and cannot be offset by technical strength.
2. AI-first: you use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code or similar) as your main way of building software, and can show production work you delivered this way. We will ask you to walk us through it.
3. 7–10 years of full-stack software development experience.
4. End-to-end delivery: you have taken features or projects all the way from backend and frontend to production, and you're comfortable owning a product area without hand-offs.
5. Strong hands-on expertise in .NET (C#). Python is a plus.
6. Strong frontend skills with React or Angular.
7. Solid database design background (PostgreSQL or SQL Server).
8. Working knowledge of Azure.
9. Able to work Norwegian business hours, which are 12:00–21:00 (Vietnam time).
