Senior Full-stack IoT Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full-stack IoT Engineer to design, build, and scale our IoT product ecosystem, working closely with architects, product managers, and engineers to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from devices or APIs and insert it into our IoT core
• Enrich and integrate data from different sources to enable the business to gain better insights
• Deploy and manage the cloud resources needed for our product, using paved road technologies and pipelines
• Support the onboarding of new assets
• Visualize data sets
• Contribute to the development of technical standards and guidelines
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, language changes, or application features that can help improve our products
• Collaborate closely with the Product Architect, Product Manager, Engineers, and the development community

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, IoT Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Python and REST APIs, with an understanding of containerization
• Familiarity with JavaScript or similar languages
• Experience working in agile/scrum environments and a strong sense of teamwork
• Excellent communication skills, with an open, transparent, and growth-oriented mindset
• A getting-things-done mentality
• An outstanding command of English

Nice to have

• Experience designing and building event-driven applications, along with knowledge of Kafka or similar brokers
• Background in working in an IoT context or the Energy Market
• Familiarity with ThingsBoard
