We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer – Java / React
Required Competencies:
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, ideally in a Senior Fullstack role.
- Strong back-end development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as MS SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Strong experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Experience with troubleshooting, bug fixing and code optimisation.
- Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation, preferably using Confluence and/or IcePanel.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, GitHub workflows and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Maven or equivalent package management/build tools.
- Front-end development experience with React and Next.js.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
- Ability to participate in architecture discussions, technical decision-making and code reviews.
Preferred Competencies:
- Experience with Hibernate, JPA or equivalent ORM technologies.
- Knowledge of application architectures such as Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience with AWS or other Cloud platforms.
- Experience with pair programming.
- Comfortable acting as a technical reference and supporting other members of the development team.
- Generalizing-specialist mindset, with the flexibility and curiosity to work across different technologies and responsibilities.

Seniority:
Senior profile – between 5 and 8 years of professional experience.
The ideal candidate is able to work under broad direction, act as a technical role model, facilitate technical and architectural decisions, and positively influence teams beyond their immediate scope.
Working Model:
Hybrid – Lisbon
- 2 non-consecutive days per week at the office
- 3 days per week working remotely
Working Schedule:
The position follows two different annual schedules and includes 12 additional Compensation Days, on top of the regular annual leave entitlement.
Winter Schedule – October to May | 43 hours/week
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00–19:00
- Friday: 09:00–17:00
Summer Schedule – June to September | 39 hours/week
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00–18:00
- Friday: 09:00–17:00
The additional Compensation Days are fixed during national holiday periods:
- 5 days between Christmas and New Year
- 5 days during Easter
- 2 days during Carnival
Gross Monthly Salary:
€1,850–€2,150 per month
Note: Includes all components: fixed compensation, variable compensation, meal allowance, remote work allowance and benefits.
