Role The Fullstack Engineer is responsible for leading the development and optimization of user-facing features in our web applications. This role involves a blend of advanced technical skills, creativity, and a keen understanding of the latest web development trends and technologies. Responsibilities Develop and Enhance Our Web Applications: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. Implement dynamic user interfaces, ensuring an optimal user experience across various devices and browsers. Implement entire features including frontend, backend and databases. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality products. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices in front-end development. Performance Optimization: Enhance and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Quality Assurance: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Uphold high standards of quality by writing clean, understandable, and testable code. Enhance and maintain the testing infrastructure to avoid regressions. Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in front-end development. Experiment with new technologies and techniques to improve the development process and user experience. Code Review and Integration: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster a culture of collective code ownership. Integrate front-end components with server-side logic and functionalities. Propose and drive improvements to the overall architecture of our software stack. Ownership: Lead projects, and provide mentorship to others on how to manage complex initiatives. Be proactive about change, and biased towards action. What we’re looking for Proficiency with our frontend stack - Next.js, React and Typescript ideally. Be able to write simple REST endpoints and database queries to support your feature.
