The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance Consultant to join our ERP implementation project. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), with a proven track record of delivering successful ERP implementations.

In this role, you will work closely with finance stakeholders, business users, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements, design effective finance solutions, configure the system, and support the implementation lifecycle from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation support.

Roles and responsibilities

• Strong Experience of relevant Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O functional consulting experience, including substantial hands-on finance implementation experience.
• Proven experience contributing to at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, go-live.
• Strong functional knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial controls, period-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience configuring finance parameters, master data, posting profiles, journals, workflows, and financial dimensions.
• Experience with functional testing, UAT, defect management, data validation, and finance reconciliation.
• Ability to produce high-quality functional specifications, process maps, test scripts, and training materials.
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a project environment.
