Senior Fund Accountant I Start Date 16 November I Fully Remote!

One of Strategic Staffing Solutions’ largest customers - a global financial investment services leader providing financial and legal services to Fortune 500 clients - is expanding its European team and looking for experienced Senior Private Equity Fund Accountants.

The role is 9 month contract with possible extension!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general fund accounting in accordance with local, international, and industry-specific accounting standards.
• Handle traditional asset accounting and related reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP requirements and relevant financial reporting guidelines.
• Prepare and support consolidations across complex fund and group structures.
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of management, statutory, and regulatory reports.
• Provide high-quality financial information to support client decision-making.
• Support team planning and coordination to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services and reporting within agreed deadlines.
• Assist with internal and external audits, liaising with auditors, tax consultants, and local regulators.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in private equity fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of traditional asset accounting and financial statement reporting.
• Good understanding of GAAP requirements and applicable accounting standards.
• Experience with fund structures, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Proposed salary 30-50 Eur/Hour
