Senior Global Continuous Improvement Lead

The role will identify, prioritize and lead improvement initiatives that deliver measurable impact on service, productivity, cost, inventory, quality, capacity and operational efficiency, while embedding a sustainable Continuous Improvement culture across the organization.

The position will act as a change agent and facilitator, connecting global Operations priorities with local execution and supporting manufacturing sites in developing their Continuous Improvement capabilities.

• Support the definition and deployment of the Global Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with Operations strategic priorities.

• Translate strategic Operations objectives into concrete improvement initiatives and action plans.

• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across Manufacturing, Supply Chain and other Operations areas.

• Ensure alignment of improvement initiatives across sites while considering local needs and maturity levels.

2. Continuous Improvement Projects

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional and cross-site improvement projects with clear business impact.

• Apply structured improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, root cause analysis, problem solving and Six Sigma tools.

• Challenge existing processes and working methods to simplify operations, eliminate waste and improve efficiency.

• Support sites in building robust improvement plans and accelerating execution.

3. Operational Performance

• Use operational KPIs and data to identify performance gaps, recurrent losses and improvement opportunities.

• Focus improvement initiatives on service level, lead time, productivity, conversion cost, inventory, capacity utilization, OEE, quality / Right First Time, waste and losses.

• Ensure every major improvement initiative has a clear baseline, target, owner, timeline and quantified benefit.

4. Standardization and Best Practices

• Identify, document and deploy best practices across manufacturing sites.

• Develop common Continuous Improvement standards, methodologies and toolkits.

• Promote process standardization where it adds value while ensuring sufficient flexibility for local operational realities.

• Create mechanisms to share learning and replicate successful improvements across the global Operations network.

5. Continuous Improvement Culture

• Promote a strong Continuous Improvement mindset throughout Operations.

• Coach managers and operational teams in structured problem solving and Lean methodologies.

• Facilitate Kaizen workshops, improvement sessions and cross-functional problem-solving activities.

• Encourage teams to move from reactive problem solving toward systematic identification and elimination of root causes.

• Help develop Continuous Improvement capabilities within each site to reduce dependency on central support.

6. Transformation and Change Management

• Support major Operations transformation initiatives, including process redesign, capacity expansion, industrialization and implementation of new ways of working.

• Act as a facilitator between Global Operations Excellence, manufacturing sites and other global functions.

• Drive adoption of new processes and standards, ensuring changes are sustainable after implementation.

7. Digital and Data-Driven Improvement

• Promote the use of data and digital tools to identify improvement opportunities and improve decision-making.

• Partner with Operations and Digital / IT teams to identify opportunities for automation, process simplification and advanced performance management.

• Support the development of visual management and performance dashboards that enable faster operational decisions.

· Lean / Six Sigma certification highly desirable, ideally Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.

· English and Spanish high

· Expert knowledge on lean manufacturing

· 20% Travel required

• Previous experience leading Continuous Improvement teams (direct o indirectly).

• Influence capacity.

• Experience in highly standardized environments

• Capacity to be leader to be Lean ambassador.
