- Lead or advise ICF staff and clients on regulatory and natural resource agency coordination and consultation efforts as required under federal regulations and statutes such as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and/or Clean Water Act (CWA).
- Write and review technical reports and public environmental documents.
- Perform QA/QC review of project documents, reports, presentations, technical memorandums, and other work products with a focus on technical adequacy, regulatory compliance, and client-specific requirements.
- Provide mentoring and training to staff on topics including, but not limited to, technical expertise, project and client management skills, writing, business development, and other consulting-specific skills.
- Be a positive, curious, organized, innovative, committed, self-motivated and supportive addition to our team environment.
- In coordination with internal business partners and leadership, assist with recruiting and growing project delivery teams that support projects based in Florida.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental policy, biology, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience leading or supporting environmental, energy, and/or natural resource projects.
- Experience and successful track record of leading environmental services business development efforts, including the addition of new clients and growing work with existing clients in Florida.
- Experience developing successful technical and cost proposals for environmental services.
- A well-developed industry network with private/public sector clients and regulatory agencies in Florida.
- Strong business development acumen, understanding of the market, and a proven process for identifying and positioning to win new project work.
What We’d Like You to Have
