Contract: 6-12 months

Role Overview

The Senior Hardware Engineer will be responsible for providing specialist technical support and maintenance across our Media clients Creative Media Systems environment, ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of critical post-production and broadcast infrastructure. The role will provide hands on support across Avid Nexis storage and infrastructure, Pro Tools audio suites, DaVinci Resolve project servers, Swift CG+ graphics systems and associated hardware, working closely with production and creative teams to minimise downtime and maintain operational continuity. Responsibilities will include hardware procurement and deployment, rack and CAR installation, operating system configuration, patching, upgrades, connectivity and network segregation between production and corporate environments. The engineer will also support remote access technologies such as HP Anyware and Leostream, alongside enterprise storage and archive workflows, ensuring effective integration between systems and resolving technical issues across the wider infrastructure.

Working within an established support function operating between 08:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday, the Senior Hardware Engineer will also contribute to technical projects, infrastructure upgrades, system migrations and the physical relocation of production equipment.
