Position Overview

StaffHero is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter with a proven track record of successfully recruiting and placing Registered Nurses (RNs) and other healthcare professionals.

This is a high-performance recruiting role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently delivers results. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for U.S. healthcare positions and can independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle while maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.

Success in this role means consistently placing 2–4 Registered Nurses (RNs) per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, screen, and interview Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Allied Health professionals, and other healthcare talent.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through placement.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
• Conduct phone and video interviews to assess clinical experience, licensure, and cultural fit.
• Verify licenses, certifications, credentials, and employment history.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.
• Build long-term relationships with candidates to develop a sustainable talent pipeline.
• Meet weekly recruiting KPIs, interview goals, and placement targets.
• Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand hiring priorities and fill urgent openings quickly.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3 years of healthcare recruiting experience supporting U.S. healthcare clients.
• Demonstrated success recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) and other clinical professionals.
• Proven ability to consistently achieve 2–4 RN placements per week.
• Experience recruiting for permanent, contract, or travel healthcare positions.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, and Boolean search techniques.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting CRMs.
• Excellent interviewing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience recruiting for multiple U.S. states and healthcare specialties.
• Knowledge of U.S. nursing licensure, credentialing, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in a staffing agency or healthcare recruiting firm.
• Familiarity with healthcare credentialing and onboarding processes.
