You'll be the go-to expert for UK People Operations at Expenti - owning a smooth, supportive experience across the whole employee lifecycle, from onboarding to payroll to policy, reporting into, and working within the strategy and priorities set by the Head of People & Workplace.

Alongside that, you'll lend your organizational sharpness to the Workplace team in the London office when needed - a smaller but genuinely valued part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Benefits

  • Own and run monthly UK payroll accurately and on time, with the external provider and Finance.

  • Manage and issue P60 and P11D reporting.

  • Manage and administer all benefits, including enrolments, changes, cancellations and joiner/leaver registration.

  • Maintain an evolving knowledge and understanding UK employment law, payroll and tax.

People Operations

  • Own the day-to-day running of critical UK people-operations processes, keeping them accurate, compliant and on time.

  • Deliver a smooth, supportive people-operations experience across the end-to-end UK employee lifecycle.

  • Act as the key UK People team contact, providing empathetic guidance to employees.

  • Maintain compliance with UK employment legislation.

  • Support the creation and review of HR policies and maintenance of the Employee Handbook.

  • Contribute to engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Support performance-review cycles, development planning and talent initiatives.

  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, terminations, settlement agreements, entity migrations and subrogations.

Systems & Reporting

  • Own and maintain the HRIS (HiBob) for UK employees, with accurate data.

  • Support HRIS optimisation, reporting and process improvements for UK data, in partnership with the HiBob system owner.

Workplace support

  • Support the Workplace team in the London office with WP tasks when needed.

  • Support the delivery of company events and employee-experience initiatives in the London office.

Autonomy, ownership and sound judgement; exceptional attention to detail and prioritisation; expertise in UK payroll, tax and employment law; HRIS (HiBob) administration; process improvement and reporting; AI adoption; a flexible, hands-on attitude to support the London workplace when needed; empathy and discretion with confidential information.
