SENIOR HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYOR Join our innovative team at Deep BV! We usually respond within a week YOUR ROLE. As a Senior Hydrographic Surveyor at Deep BV, you will lead the execution of medium-sized projects and assist the Party Chief on larger ones. This role involves the mobilisation and calibration of both smaller and larger vessels, the acquisition and quality control of hydrographic data onboard survey vessels, and processing data when necessary. As a senior team member, you will enjoy significant autonomy in your role, supported by an experienced team to deliver outstanding project results. Our projects span offshore marine zones and inland waterways worldwide. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES. Survey Operations: Execute survey operations in line with internal procedures and client specifications. Vessel Mobilisation: Mobilise and calibrate survey vessels. Data Processing: Process hydrographic survey data, create charts, and write reports. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain measuring instruments and survey equipment. Administrative Duties: Handle administrative requirements at the project level. WHAT WE ASK. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ocean Technology, Oceanography, Hydrography, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Experience with Qinsy In possession of a valid driver’s license (B, preferably incl. BE) Pro-active, practical and flexible mindset Professional, solution-oriented attitude Fluency in English, both written and verbal In possession of an EU/UK-residency/work permit WHAT WE OFFER.
