You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of WorkCover's IAM capability by improving processes, enhancing controls, supporting application onboarding and driving continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen security, compliance and operational effectiveness.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Administering and supporting our SailPoint Identity Security Cloud environment
  • Managing identity lifecycle processes, including joiner, mover and leaver activities.
  • Supporting role-based access management, access certifications and governance activities.
  • Monitoring IAM services, investigating incidents and resolving operational issues.
  • Supporting application onboarding, integrations and configuration changes.
  • Driving automation, standardisation and continuous improvement across IAM operations.
  • Partnering with Cyber Security to ensure IAM controls remain effective and compliant.

About You

You're an experienced IAM professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, improving services and delivering secure outcomes. You combine strong technical capability with a collaborative approach and enjoy working with stakeholders to achieve practical business outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Experience administering and supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access governance, role-based access controls and IAM best practices.
  • Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud or a similar enterprise IAM platform
  • Experience with automation, configuration-as-code, version control and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices is desirable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within environments that utilise Agile, ITIL and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across technical and business teams.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, automation and delivering high-quality technology services.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes ownership, works collaboratively and is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing IAM capability that helps protect WorkCover Queensland's people, systems and information.
