A little about us

  • What we're building: Kittl is becoming the AI-native, operating system for creative businesses. Most businesses don't lose on product, they lose on how they show up. We give small brands the creative firepower to look credible and get from idea to launch-ready, with no agency and no design team

  • Rapid growth: 11 million users since 2022

  • Diverse team: 120+ people from 30+ countries, with offices in Berlin and Düsseldorf and teammates working remotely

  • Truly product-led company: Engineers, Product Managers and Designers sit at the core of what we build

  • Backing: Raised ~$50M, led by IVP with Left Lane Capital and Speedinvest. IVP has also backed Figma, Slack, and Dropbox

Your role at Kittl 🥁

Influencers and creators are how Kittl reaches small business owners through people they already trust. You'll source, negotiate and brief the YouTube and Instagram creators whose audiences are print-on-demand sellers, Etsy and Shopify shop owners and small product brands, and turn scattered posts into a channel we can forecast on subscriptions and CAC. You'll also own our affiliate programme, but most of your time goes into creators. To be clear, this is hands-on creator marketing, not B2B partnerships, channel sales or business development. It's a senior role with real authority over which creators we back and how much we spend, within the Acquisition team.

Tasks

What you'll do 📋

  • Creator deals: Own a portfolio of creators end to end: sourcing, vetting for brand fit, negotiating rates and terms, briefing, renewing or cutting

  • Performance: Judge every deal on signups, subscriptions and CAC, and decide quickly what to scale, renegotiate or stop

  • New creators and markets: Find and test creators in the segments our growth depends on, including new language markets and online communities, and hold a high content bar

  • Budget: Run campaigns and their budget, and show what each euro returned

  • Affiliate: Own the affiliate programme; commissions, onboarding, and moving partners from signed up to recurring producer

  • Reporting and workflows: Keep reporting, payments, CRM and tracking clean. Use AI to find and analyse creators at scale; judging fit and who to back stays with you

Requirements

What you'll need ✅

  • Senior creator marketing experience: 5+ years in influencer marketing, including at least 2–3 years already operating at senior level. You've run paid YouTube and Instagram creator deals yourself: sourcing, negotiating, renewing and cutting

  • Performance judgement: You judge creators on what they convert, not what they reach, and you've renegotiated or ended a deal because of CAC

  • Affiliate mechanics: Hands-on experience with commission tiers, tracking and partner activation

  • Relationships at volume: You can carry 60+ active partners, and tell a creator their work isn't good enough without losing them

  • Budget ownership: You've owned an influencer budget and can defend how you spent it, with a CRM that's actually current

Nice to have 👌

  • A SaaS or subscription app background; e-commerce, DTC or creative tools also work

  • You've opened new creator niches, markets or partnership types, such as online communities

  • TikTok creator experience

  • Paid amplification of creator content on Meta and YouTube

  • Other languages, especially Spanish, German or Portuguese, so you can work with creators in theirs

Show us, don't tell us 🎤

Bring two creator partnerships you built - what you saw in them before anyone else did, what you paid, and what came back.

Tools you'll use 🧰

  • HubSpot: our primary CRM for the partner network

  • Metabase: reporting on spend and performance

  • Claude: as much as you want, for exploring and building

  • Notion: documentation

  • Trudy and VidIQ: checking creator metrics

Interview process 🔍️

  • Intro call with your recruiter (30 min)

  • Interview with the hiring manager (45 min)

  • A take-home challenge, done in your own time

  • Challenge presentation and discussion with the team

  • Bar raiser interview (30 min)

You'll do well here if:

  • You pick up problems nobody assigned you. If something's broken and no one has stepped up, you're the person who does

  • You'd rather make the call and adjust than wait until you're certain. Speed is how we win

  • You want to own a domain deeply enough that people rely on your judgement in it, whether or not you manage anyone

  • You'll argue for your position and commit fully when the call goes the other way

  • You care about details other people would call excessive. We hold a higher bar than most, on purpose

  • You use AI constantly and still own every word you ship

Every new hire should raise the bar in some meaningful way, not just fill a seat. We hold to that, and it's why you'll be working with the most talented people from all over the world.

Benefits

  • Real ownership: You own what you ship, end to end. Whether you lead a team or lead through craft, we back you to work on what matters most

  • Work at the edge of AI and design: Kittl sits where AI, design and commerce meet. You'll be learning on the frontier, not reading about it

  • Work-life balance: 30 vacation days a year, plus public holidays

  • Hybrid working style: 3 days a week in our office in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, the rest of the week from home

  • Remote work: On top of that, work from anywhere in the world for up to 50 days (10 weeks) a year

  • VESOP: Enrolment in our Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan. When Kittl grows in value, you share in it

  • Lunch: Daily chef-prepared meals in the office

  • Mobility: Your monthly BVG ticket, fully covered

  • Health & fitness: Urban Sports Club M membership

  • Learning & development: Annual L&D budget for your professional growth

  • German classes: Online group courses at every level

  • Hackathons: Quarterly hackathons to experiment with new ideas, push boundaries and build the next big thing

  • Kittl Week: Each year, our global team gathers for a whole week to work, celebrate, get inspired and have fun
