What Is This Challenge About
- Design and document complex integration architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Lead the design and evolution of core Integration and Data platforms, acting as the technical authority for these foundational systems.
- Architect and oversee the modernization of legacy integrations, transitioning them into modern event-driven or API-based architectures.
- Define architectural patterns and best practices for integration microservices, ensuring consistency and maintainability across teams.
- Define and maintain the overall Enterprise Architecture strategy, ensuring its consistent application through architectural governance.
- Act as a technical leader and Subject Matter Expert for integration technologies, supporting development teams and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, proposing innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and business continuity requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- +5 years experience as an Integration Architect.
- Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot microservices or similar distributed systems.
- Experience working with Kafka in an integration or event-driven architecture landscape.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience in legacy integration modernization and system replacement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in debugging complex distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation technologies.
- Living in Portugal (remote role)
- Fluent level of English.
