Senior Internal Auditor
ConmedAt CONMED, Internal Audit promotes the effective and efficient use of our resources through implementation of compliance controls, value added projects and cost savings and avoidance opportunities. We are seeking a driven and financially savvy Senior Internal Auditor to join the team.
As a Remote Senior Internal Auditor , you will support the completion of annual Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and the annual internal audit plan, which may include Financial, Operational, IT, Compliance and select third party audits.
Responsibilities Include:
Performing audit test procedures of key controls as related to SOX
Provide SOX status reports
Obtaining and testing of sufficient evidential matter
Conduct internal financial and/or system audits and risk assessments
Test and document financial and computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracy
Report discrepancies
Prepares audit plans and understand the specific issues to be evaluated
Execute internal audits within established business process controls
Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriate
May facilitate work of external auditors
Participate in various projects to improve or develop efficient and effective department processes
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or another related field
2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit /internal audit.
Preferred Experience:
Audit knowledge and skills in finance/accounting and/or information system operations
Experience with data analytics, audit testing etc.
Expected Travel 0-20%

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $64,074 - $99,788. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
