We are pleased to be recruiting a Senior Investment Fund Proposition Manager to join our Investment Solutions team within the Adviser & Customer function. The team plays a key role in shaping and governing the investment fund ranges available across our Workplace and Retail propositions, helping ensure they remain fit for purpose and continue to deliver good outcomes for customers.
In this senior role, you’ll take ownership of the analysis, governance and ongoing development of our wider fund ranges. You’ll use your investment and market expertise to identify opportunities for change, make recommendations on fund launches, changes and closures, and ensure customer outcomes and Consumer Duty remain central to decision-making.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business, including Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) and external asset managers, you’ll influence senior stakeholders and governance forums, helping turn complex investment analysis into clear decisions that shape the future of our investment propositions.
About the role
- Lead the analysis, governance and ongoing management of our investment fund ranges, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and deliver good customer outcomes.
- Shape the future of our investment propositions, making recommendations on fund launches, changes and closures based on customer, market and regulatory needs.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing performance, service and value for money.
- Turn complex investment analysis into clear recommendations and high-quality papers for senior stakeholders, committees and governance forums.
- Lead and support colleagues across the team, prioritising activity and driving continuous improvement in how we manage our fund propositions.
- Work collaboratively across Investment, Product, Distribution, Marketing, Risk and other teams to deliver proposition change and wider investment projects.
About you
- Strong experience in investment fund analysis, governance or investment proposition management, ideally within pensions or retail investments.
- In-depth knowledge of investment funds, markets and the financial services regulatory environment, including a good understanding of Consumer Duty.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex investment information into clear recommendations and decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence building relationships with asset managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, including experience presenting technical investment information to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- An investment qualification such as the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), or equivalent knowledge and experience, would be advantageous.
If you feel you’d be a great fit for Royal London but don’t meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Research shows some candidates are less likely to apply unless they meet 100% of the criteria - if you meet most requirements and are keen to learn, we encourage you to apply.
