Senior iOS Developer

Our client is a global music and audio streaming platform connecting listeners with music, podcasts and other audio content. We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to develop and enhance core components of its large-scale consumer application, working on both user-facing features and shared platform components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core iOS functionality and shared platform components.
• Design stable, maintainable APIs, ensuring backward compatibility for teams building on shared components.
• Deliver user-facing features that meet high standards for privacy, security and user experience.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android and backend engineers, as well as product, design, data and other cross-functional teams.
• Improve application performance, testing, tooling and development practices.
• Lead initiatives spanning multiple teams when needed.

Ideal candidate profile

• At least 8 years of experience in iOS development.
• In-depth knowledge of modern iOS development and Swift.
• Ability to write clear, idiomatic and maintainable code.
• Strong knowledge of Cocoa design patterns and API design.
• Experience developing shared platform components with stability and backward-compatibility requirements.
• Experience using AI agent tools and agent-based development workflows, such as Cursor and Claude.
• Experience developing solutions with high privacy and security requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++.
• Experience with Android development.
• Experience working across multiple platforms and codebases.

Conditions

• Work model: Remote.
• Workload: Full-time, 100%.
• Contract type: B2B or a Regular Employment - up to your preference.
• Assignment period: 6 months, with a possibility of extension.
