For our client, a global technology and communications-platform company, we are looking for Senior iOS Engineers to join an experienced product team in Stockholm. This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale application used by hundreds of millions of users each month. You will take ownership across the full iOS development lifecycle; from technical design and architecture through implementation, testing and deployment.


Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain the iOS application. Deliver new features in close collaboration with product, design and backend teams.
  • Ensure high application performance, quality, reliability and responsiveness.
  • Contribute to architecture and technical-design decisions.
  • Participate actively in code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards.
  • Take part in planning, development, testing and deployment activities throughout the software development lifecycle.


Ideal candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in iOS development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Swift.
  • Strong understanding of iOS architecture, SDKs, asynchronous server communication and UX optimisation.
  • Proven experience debugging and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Experience planning, leading and delivering core functionality in large-scale applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with requirements and collaborate in broad, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

  • Fluent Swedish, spoken and written.
  • Experience with SwiftUI.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as GitHub Actions and Fastlane.
  • Experience mentoring and onboarding junior developers.


Conditions

  • Location: Stockholm, Sweden.
  • Work model: Hybrid, with up to 40% remote work.
  • Workload: Full-time, 100%.
  • Assignment period: 1 year - possibility of extension.
  • Rate: Up to 750 SEK per hour (B2B contract).
