Senior iOS / Cross-Platform Engineer (Malmö) Skicka ansökan We are currently supporting a highly interesting product team in Malmö, building large-scale, user-facing applications used globally. The team was established locally last year and has quickly grown into a key part of a global setup. It’s a fast-paced, collaborative environment where engineers have real ownership and influence over what gets built. This is not a typical iOS-only role . What we’re looking for We’re looking for a strong engineer with a solid programming foundation – not just someone who has “done iOS”. 5–10+ years of software engineering experience Strong experience in Swift (or the ability to ramp up quickly) Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and system design Experience working with performance, concurrency and scalable systems Ability to take ownership and drive work forward independently A background in C, C++ or other low-level languages is highly valued. We’ve seen several successful engineers transition into this environment without having spent their entire career in iOS. Experience in app development is a plus – but fundamentals matter more than frameworks . What you’ll do Build and improve app functionality used at global scale Work closely with international teams (incl. US) Take ownership of features, systems and technical decisions Contribute to architecture, design and code quality Work in an environment where problem-solving is central What stands out in this team Strong mix of senior, mid and junior engineers High expectations – but also high trust and autonomy Engineers are encouraged to question, challenge and understand deeply Hiring focuses on problem-solving ability, not just tech stack The interview process reflects this – it’s less about what language you’ve used, and more about how you think.
