We are looking for an experienced change, communications and engagement professional to help our people navigate change, build data maturity and capability, and confidently adopt new ways of working. This isn’t a technical IT change role. It’s a people-focused change role in a technology environment.

A change, communications and engagement strategy is already taking shape. Your role will be to bring it to life, turning plans into practical communications, engagement and capability-building activities across the organisation.

You’ll collaborate with team members, executives and stakeholders to ensure program delivery is scaffolded by timely communications and engagement, identifying opportunities and delivering activities to help our people successfully navigate and adopt change.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver change, communications and engagement activities aligned with the broader strategy
  • Create and communicate clear, engaging content across a range of communication channels
  • Manage channels to ensure the right messages reach the right audiences at the right time
  • Work with stakeholders to understand change impacts, adoption barriers and capability needs
  • Coordinate training, demonstrations, information sessions and engagement activities
  • Onboard and manage vendors to deliver to time, budget and standard
  • Translate complex or technical information into simple, relevant and accessible communications
  • Gather feedback and insights to continuously improve the change and engagement approach
  • Monitor the effectiveness of change, communications and capability-building activities.

About You

This is an opportunity to bring a newly established change and communications strategy to life, connecting change with the people who need to understand, adopt and benefit from it.

You’ll bring strong experience in organisational change, communications and stakeholder engagement, with the confidence to turn strategy into practical, high-quality delivery.

You’re likely to be someone who:

  • Has experience delivering change, communications and engagement initiatives in a complex environment
  • Is a strong writer and communicator who can make complex information clear, relevant and engaging, across different channels and media
  • Knows how to tailor communications and engagement approaches for different audiences
  • Can translate strategy into coordinated communications, engagement and capability-building activities
  • Builds strong relationships and confidently engages and influences stakeholders at all levels
  • Understands the people side of change, including adoption, readiness and potential barriers
  • Can manage competing priorities while keeping sight of the bigger picture.

Experience supporting technology, digital, system or process change will be highly regarded.
