Position Overview:
Senior IT Engineers are responsible for delivering high-quality, solution-focused technology outcomes across the full delivery lifecycle. They leverage their in-depth knowledge of their discipline to cross-functional delivery teams, they bring technical depth, business awareness, and collaborative agility to support the development, testing, and deployment of solutions that meet business needs. This role involves resolving problems using existing solutions, occasionally leading small project / initiative teams, and providing guidance to junior staff.
Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Deliver solutions across the full DevSecOps lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business outcomes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop, test, and maintain applications and platforms aligned to factory priorities.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to validate solution options and share proof-of-concept code.
- Apply engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes and team performance.
- Participate in incident resolution and support activities (3rd Line), ensuring reliability and performance of factory-owned applications.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and contribute to innovation within the factory.
- Support the Engineering Manager and Factory Tech Lead with technical advice and input into factory-level decisions.
- Manage data privacy risks and ensure compliance with company policy regarding the processing of personal and/or other sensitive data.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or platform operations within agile delivery environments.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding.
- Certifications in relevant technologies, cloud platforms, or agile methodologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, Scrum) are desirable but not essential.
- Background in financial services or asset managementpreferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern .NET development (preferably .NET 8+), including C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST.
- Proficiency in SQL and database development, including design, performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with Oracle-based applications, including development and support of PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers, as well as data analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex database solutions.
Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications including the extent of candidate’s relevant experience and other job-related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
